Weather alerts
Warnings come from the National Weather Service. To get push alerts, turn on Weather Alerts in the app's Settings and allow notifications when asked. You can choose which alert types you receive there too.
Location
The app works without your location: search for and save places instead. Sharing your location lets the forecast and alerts follow where you are.
